The Plainview Place property consists of a primarily undeveloped 148.05-acre tract. the presence of open space forests, natural forest and floodplain habitats, forested bottomlands, water resources ideal for flora and fauna, bird species of concern observed on the Property, relatively natural habitat corridor for wildlife and many Neotropical breeding birds it supports, and Prime Agricultural Soils, five land cover types included in the Alabama DCNR SWAP as priority habitat within the Dry Hardwood and Mixed Pine, Mesic Hardwood, Floodplain Forest, and Anthropogenic Habitat , and SCB areas of Medium Conservation Value across the landscape of the Property function as an especially important link in the restoration and preservation of air and water quality and species richness of the Piedmont and , therefore, is a critical component in the support of regional continuity of wildlife corridors within the Tallapoosa River Watershed.
Combined with the preservation of the open space and scenic viewshed of a natural area along County Road 016 it will manifestly contribute to the well – being of the community and its awareness of the necessity to continue to preserve our open spaces and waterways.
Protecting the conservation values present on the Property will therefore serve a vital function as a significant contributor to the overall scale and ecological viability of these important habitats throughout the Southern Outer Piedmont into the future.

32°49′40.43″N 85°30′03.34″W. The property is located within the Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) District #4.
The site is south of Interstate 50, and northeast of Highway 280.The site is located about 8 road miles southwest of La Fayette and about 12 road miles northeast of Camp Hill, Alabama. Plainview Place is accessible via the west side of Chambers County Road 16, approximately 0.5 miles south of its intersection with Highway 50 (Veterans Memorial Parkway).
